Viking Bags Motorcycle Roll Bag

Viking Bags Axwell Roll Bag

Viking Bags offers a huge selection of well-made, affordable motorcycle luggage. I chose their Axwell Roll Bag because it will fit just about every make and model of motorcycle. And that is what I needed for what I had in mind.

My somewhat eccentric, Italophile friends in the GRIT (Guzzi Riders in Texas) agree on the virtues of a shaft-drive, longitudinally mounted V-twin engine, but not on the model. Moto Guzzi makes everything from the big California cruiser to the V7 Sport, and GRIT rallies attract all of them.

This year, 2021, is the 100th anniversary of Moto Guzzi and I wanted something special for a door prize at the centenary GRIT rally in October. This handsome, expandable Axwell roll bag would be perfect for the door prize. No matter the model, it would look great on the winner’s Moto Guzzi.

It would look great on your motorcycle, too.

Call it a tail pack, a tail bag, a roll bag or a sissy bar bag, the Axwell is made of durable, weather resistant cordura and is reinforced with ABS plastic panels in the sides and base, making it one tough sissy bar bag.

Measuring a generous 17 x 10.25 x 9.25 inches, it provides 671 cubic inches of space. For the metric minded that is 16 liters, 21 liters when the expansion end panels are unzipped.

Inside the main compartment zippered flap is a zippered mesh pocket. There are also two zippered outside, end compartments separate from the main compartment for essentials one might want to keep handy.

Numerous buckles and rings on the bag and the straps that are included make for a flexible mounting system. One sturdy strap is intended for a sissy bar. There is even a shoulder strap for off-bike carry. Finally, the Axwell is of a size that can double as carry-on luggage so you can fly and ride.

Motorcycling at its best.
